Topic: Girl Scouts of USA Troop 20211

Speaker: GS Kainapu Marsh and Central Texas Leadership Shauna Seale

Girl Scouts is a girl led organization of volunteers to teach values and to empower girls for future leadership. Girls Scouts are many more things than the 3 C’s, Camping, Crafts and Cookies! They do many community service projects such as visiting nursing homes, & animal shelters. They have STEM, outdoor nature skills, environment and life skills. Cookie sales teaches entrepreneurship. In the Fall they sell nuts & candy and Spring is Cookie sales. The troop makes about $1.10 per box. Girls can earn badges and award. Bronze, Silver and Gold. Gold is very difficult to achieve but the girls do their best. They also make friends, have fun, find adventure and give back. Girl Scout Troop 20211 came to visit us. Troop Leader was mom Malie Pine and daughter GS Kainapu Marsh who has been a GS for 7 years.
