Speaker: Roxanne Flores, Community Outreach & Communication Topic: City of Nolanville & Smart Museum has frenquent programs, interactive equipment, STEAM learning activities, rotating workshops, preschool story time, senior programs. Speaker: Yvonne Spell Topic: City of Harker Heights is in Bell County and currently with a population of 35,000+. It was originally farmland in the 1950's owned by Pinckney R Cox and Harley Kern. In 1957 land was divided into residential lots. In 1960 it was officially incorporated and named after landowner Harley Kern and PR Cox served as the first Mayor.
