Kiwanis member Lisa Youngblood brought information to the club about the upcoming Total Eclipse on April 8th. The communities in Central Texas are expected to double that day and over the weekend to experience the once in a lifetime event.
Shannon Gowan, Exec Director of the Ronald McDonald House in Temple TX had a presentation for our club on all the wonderful things these homes around the country do for families of ill children. The families can stay there close to their child's hospital at no cost and many of their needs are met the house. If you wish to help see their Wish List of most needed items.
Members of Harker Heights High School Key Club did a presentation to our club of what they have been doing this Fall and future projects coming up. The next on the agenda is to work our 52nd Annual Pancake Supper on Feb 10th at the Harker Heights Elementary School. Serving begins at 5:30 pm.
