The 51st annual Harker Heights Kiwanis Pancake Supper was held on Saturday February 18th at the Harker Heights Elementary School to a crowd of about 300 hungry patrons. Club President Norm Dunbar and Board Member Jeanette McNiesh along with several other members have the important job of preparing the Wright Brand bacon. On the other side of the kitchen are the pancake flippers and our high school students ready to work the serving line. All proceeds benefit local high school scholarships and children's programs in our community. We had about 100 door prizes donated by local businesses and individuals and 15 auction items, most were the artworks of local artist Joe Friddle. It was a very fun and successful evening.
