The HHHS Key Club and the EHMS Builders Club students were in the Christmas Spirit this weekend and volunteering in the community. Key Club members worked with the costumed characters at the annual Frost Fest so the children could get their pictures taken with them. Saturday night was the Killeen Christmas Parade and the Builders Club members participated in the parade along with Elsa & Anna from FROZEN. The weather was gorgeous this year and we weren't actually frozen this time.

Harker Heights Kiwanis Members Dick Dinwiddie, Norm Dunbar, David McClure, Lisa Youngblood & Vivian Marschik along with members of the Eastern Hills Middle School Builders Club and the Harker Heights High School Key Club participated in the 2019 Killeen Veteran's Day Parade. This photo was taken just before the "Fall cold front" blew in. In a matter of minutes everyone was scrambling to get coats, hats, scarves and gloves on. It started sprinkling rain and the wind was blowing all the leaves from trees near by in our faces. In no time it went from the upper 60's into the 40's. The parade started off with a bang! We Texans survived the cold front to finish the parade without losing anyone . :-)
