Congratulations to the EHMS Builders Club & HHHS Key Club for earning the Presidential Volunteer Service Awards. These two clubs have worked hard all school year serving their school and community. (many more members participated but were unable to attend the ceremony)

EHMS Builders Club held their annual Fundraiser for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It concluded with the "taping to the wall" at lunch. The 6th grade class was the clear winner and purchased the most tape that held up Mrs Cunningham when the chair was removed.

Kiwanis members David McClure, Vivian Marschik, Norm Dunbar and Faculty Advisor Lisa Burden met HHHS Key Club and EHMS Builders members to their Adopt-a-Spot for a park cleanup and cookout. Key Club members welcomed Builder Club members to join them next year when they come to high school. We all had a great time!!

The HHHS Key Club braved the cold, wind, mist and overall miserable weather to participate in the local Harker Heights Texas Trash-off to help keep our community clean. They had some unusual finds. Look closely, they are holding a harmless snake. They called the Pet Adoption Center and it will be moved to a safe location.

EHMS Builders Club spent the day at Indian Oaks Nursing Center interacting with residents.

EHMS Builders Club held their club fundraiser at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
Thanks to all of you who came out to support them. This will pay for the bus to their next community service project at the nursing home. We had a great time!

The HHHS Key Club held the Installation of Officers and recognition of the club members. It was lead by President Jennifer Lee, VP Catherine Kim, Secretary Samuel Godoy, Historian Leandro Gamboa, Treasurer Ian Reid. The Key Club has been very busy with their community service projects and have more scheduled for the Spring

The Kiwanis Club hosted the January 2018 Harker Heights Chamber Coffee Connection. It was a huge success. There were around 40 in attendance. We had plenty to eat and plenty to share with the local homeless shelter and the Harker Heights Fire Dept. It is a lot of fun, good networking and community sharing.

Killeen Christmas Parade 2017 "The Magic of Christmas"
The Kiwanis Club along with EHMS Builders Club, HHHS Key Club and the EHMS Lady Panthers Volleyball District Champions participated in the parade. The theme for our entry was "Star Wars" Everyone had a great time supporting our communities.

Builders Club Faculty Advisor Lisa Burden, Kiwanis Advisor Vivian Marschik and Kiwanis President David McClure helped sort 31,780 lbs at the Killeen collection point for the annual Food for Familes. This helps fill local food pantries to feed those less fortunate in our communities.

The HHHS Key Club and the EHMS Builders Club have been busy serving their community. Check out their photo album on the website for more pictures of the students at work.
The Key Club members met at the Harker Heights Community Park to clean up the waterways. They picked up trash and made sure the waterways were cleared out.
